By way of introduction (most of this is in my profile too), I have been studying martial arts since 1979. I hold a black belt in GoJu Ryu. I've had a smattering of experience with other martial arts over the years including Tae Kwon Do and Okinawan Kempo. I've been a serious student of Tai Chi Chuan since 1996. I am a certified fitness instructor and have been teaching a variety of different fitness classes, including cardio kickboxing, since 2003.

At 51 years of age, I'm not interested in fighting in MMA myself, but I am a fan of MMA.

I still train actively, usually from 8 to 10 hours a week.
