    Most figthers have a good stomach build just from bag work. A whole lot of twisting and torquing on your mid-section with 16oz gloves on will obviously build that area up. Then on top of that most boxers hate taking it to the body and will double out the effort to build up their mid-section. First thing I'd do once I got to the gym was 100 pushups 200 sit-ups, sets of 25/50 x 4.


    Good book to get the basic idea, but this is all stuff you should let a gym focus on for you. Not karate-kid in his living room style.
