I seriously do not understand how someone's punching if they find hitting with the bottom three knuckles "much" harder or faster. To me that says their two-knuckle punch is terrible.

that people who don't know how to punch properly will injure their hands?

I think Steve is making a rather succinct and supported vote for the two knuckle punch.

I'm in x-ray school right now and spend a large portion of the week at the hospital doing x-rays. Guess what one of the most common fractures is. Boxers fracture. Guess where. The 4th & 5th digits=ring and pinky fingers/knuckles. Don't recall ever seeing a boxers fracture to the 2nd& 3rd digit= pointer&middle finger/knuckles. I'm just a student though & the real x-ray techs back it up pinky boxers fracture is one of the most common. Granted the guys that come in w/ boxer's fractures are probably inexpierenced at punching. But what about the inexpierenced guys that punch w/ the pointer&middle knuckles? Guess they're not breaking their hands. What does this prove? I'm not really sure. But I do know more people break pinkys & ring fingers punching walls, wives or other ****.

Sure they're only $3.99. But no looking at girls w/ them & you have to sign a contract. Deal?

    You all suck.

19 posts and no one has commented on an aikido student being taught to punch. period.

O Sensei is rolling in his grave.
