    If your not being a smart ass, I have to agree. While serving in Okinawa in the early 80,s one of my fellow Marines was a Wing Chun practioner, 8 years he bosted at the time.

    While in a bar fight with some of the other service men I witnessed him in action, he closed the distance and in a simple flurry of upper hand movements knocked out the first challenger with a flurry of short distances close range combos. The second followed close behind.

    Although I would have used a more direct approach such as a hook to the temple or shin kick to the chops, he was beyond a doubt extremly effective.
