    And there was much rejoicing.

    ATTENTION ALL:

Tonight, Marc Spector (finally) received his blue belt, presented to him by none other than Carlos Gracie, Jr. himself. This is the part where everyone congratulates me.

    Congratulations.

After he gave it to you, Carlos laughed and told me you were dumb as a butt and twice as ugly.

    But, yea, congratulations.

    Judo. Some BJJ/Kickboxing
You know Carlos Gracie is the one member of the Gracie family who never learned BJJ and just teaches people ballroom dancing moves on the floor as a practical joke?
"[Fighting for Points] is doubtless very pretty, and invariably draws applause, but preferences should always be given to blows that do some business, to good straight hits that do something toward finishing the fight.
A man who has carefully trained for brilliant tapping play, will find himself considerably out of it in case he is called upon to do any real work."

He's everywhere. Apparently there's a technique that you learn from Drunken Kung Fu forms that allows you to be everywhere at once.

IF it's true and not some lame joke: congratulations.

it keeps surprising me how often they give people blue belts.
This is the beginning of the end people.
10 years from now there'll be bjj schools in shopping malls.
