    Well any animal just looking for food who gets startled is going to run. Living solitary in nature sucks, and most who do it are quite timid around unknown things. Cats and bears run rather fast from barking - no matter the size of the dog.

    hrmm, looking into it, I can't find much. Also found that the documentary never plays the audio recorded of the killing. I wonder if I heard it elsewhere or imagined it by listening to the description of what was found on it. Closest thing mentioning his "work" is this quote:
