Not too interested to see 8 month of Frank "Dont Make My Face Into Hamburger" Mir. After his match with Lesner my faith in his MMA abilities are less than confident. But like someone else said, Mir hasn't been in the same for years.

There's danger in such commercialism, no doubt. But getting to know a bit about the fighters (I'm not talking about getting all up in their personal bizness, mind you) makes the fights more interesting.

Pauli is correct. Who in the heavyweight division is seriously going to give Nogueira trouble? This gives Joe Silva some breathing room to figure out what the **** he is going to do with the worst division in the UFC.

I speak portuguese so I'm already giggling at the profanities that certainly are gonna be said in portuguese during the show...as a free example:

"Que porra é essa caralho, quebra a postura desse filho da puta!

Oh...and I'm curious as to who he's gonna choose as assistant coaches!

All I know about brazillian portuguese is that deer means "fag".

Apparently there was a misunderstanding when my coach told his instructor he was going deerhunting.

Just aproach any brazilian and call him a "viado", which means deer, but is also slang for fag!

So if TUF 8 is LHW and LW would it be safe to assume that TUF 9 will be heavyweights? At this point they need to do something to get some new marketable talent into the HW mix. Has anyone heard anything like this yet? Or is it just to early to tell?

I'm not really okay with using "fag" as an insult. I just tell the brazillian I train with that his kid is really mine (actually looks more like me too). That seems sufficient.
