    First Amateur Fight Tomorrow!

    My first amateur fight is tomorrow and I was wondering what kind of tips you guys have. I already have my gameplan set with my coaches and have watched a little tape on the guy I'm going to fight, but otherwise I'm not really sure what else I can do. Are there any recommendations for getting rid of the first fight jitters? Any foods I should be eating tomorrow to get myself ready?

    Weigh-ins are in a little bit and my weight is dead on as of right now so I'm not worried about that and I feel like I'm in great shape, I just want to know if there is anything else I should be thinking about before I get in the cage and try to kill a man with my bare hands.

    Make sure you drink a little bit of something like powerade before your fight, not a lot, just maybe a quarter of a bottle over a 1 hour period to make sure you are hydrated before you get in the ring, and take a piss about 15 minutes before the match.

    I don't think powerade would be such a good idea.

    Its just gonna make you jittery. Most sports drinks are crap and full of sugar.

    Water is what you need.

    Just don't drink or eat before the match, make sure your stomach is not full at all. You dont need cramps or pains or just a bloated stomach because your nervous and have food in your stomach.
