I've recently been exposed to a relatively new Korean martial art and would like your thoughts and experiences.

I am impressed with its very practical nature and testing.

The sythesis of korean kicks, muay thai, stand up grappling and ground work gives you the oppotunity to become well rounded fighter.

Unfortunately, it does have some down side. The sparring seems to be limited to the body shots and the master has introduced some questionable hooking techniques.

    Over to you.

Never heard of it. Do you have any links or resources for us to review?

Take a look at the web site.

Numerous clips are available in the Gallery.

That kind of competition looks awsome! Sorta of "MMA light" at end with the head gear...but I bet it still hurts.

I have been involved with Gongkwon Yusul since last year. I wouldn't take too much notice of the English website - its full of errors and misleading English.
