    well,if u ask me,the best kicks if u target for the head are:side kick(traditional or "sweetchin music style') and axe kicks.if u have sufficient flexiblity,u can put hook kick to the list

    I love sparring guys like you . Even under straight stand up rules I get takedowns by jamming side kicks up and kicking out the supporting leg .

    Side kicks have their place ... just not against most people at head level .

    But hey man , do what you want and get video .
