There was a whole CSI episode that focused on furries. A guy in a racoon suit puking by the side of a forest road at night got shot by a hunter. Most of the rest of the episode takes place at a furry convention. (seems fitting that furry conventions would happen in vegas). It's a pretty funny / disturbing episode.

Well, this thread has been an education.

I don't know whether to cry, laugh or chase my own tail.

I remember that episode. A guy dressed like a blue or maybe purple cat and walked around with a bag of cat nip after another guy in a raccoon costume got run over. It was directed as a spoof of basic instinct.

I've had the distinct displeasure of seeing furries in real life.

As part of my "Take in other cultures to reassure myself that I am one of the only sane people in the world" stints, I walked in the Columbus Gay Pride Parade last summer. Don't worry, I had Maddox's Civil Disobedience shirt on.

Anyway, the biker dykes posing with 6-year-olds was kinda disturbing. But watching a bunch of bunnies and kitties with velcro flaps over their genitals made me want to break down and cry. Especially the one that was on a leash, being walked by a leather-clad gimp.

Life can be interesting. I think I blew a gasket trying to keep my cool that afternoon. There was just so much funny in every direction...

    Suuuuuure... "Research"

I shiver to think there may be these freaks rolling on the mat with me wishing I was a 6 foot tall mascot.

I know it's called "Fur and loathing in las vegas". That should be enough to find it with google.

I wonder if you can practice archery in a fursuit.
