    No, amateurs dont get paid. They sometimes get travel expenses, or at least partial travel expenses, 4 out of 5 fights spatch and I have done so far have actually cost me money. The other one I just broke about even.

    The last time we fought in Iowa cost me about 400 bucks

    Amateur= No pay for fighting or winning. You get reimbursed for travel and thats it.

    Pro= Payed to fight or fighting for a purse.

    I'd love to be pro-MMA and amateur in kickboxing.

    The main downer is that it makes it harder for spatch and myself to get on the same cards.

    yeah, if this thing doesn't get cleared up I reckon it'd put a damper on the whole IKF Worlds thing which we were both really looking forward to going to
