    WOT, looks like to me...
those are Pro bug catchers and they use mechanical fuel injection on those I am pretty sure. their fuel pump is crank driven.

Cleetus and the boys had a pro-style bug catcher and FI. The one on the TA was a holly scoop that is far from air tight. so it would run with them closed but would cost a **** ton of ponies on the top end.
The Caucasian always has stronger strength and when comes to grappling, Caucasians mostly win easily. I do know grappling and if I used it on Asians my size, it works. - Kung Fu dude that got waxed at OneFc try out.

Like all those shots of speedos at 120 mph and cars jumping over gaps in bridges...

I've gone 146 mph in my old Porsche (that was spec top speed, LOL, the rev limiter really worked), and plenty of times at 120 mph.

One would need true balls of steel to even consider jumping anything at either speed, in a car.

I know, it's just the movies...
I was telling Phrost the other day that I hit 105 on the way to his crib. In my truck. Not a big deal, we have roads here where posted limit is 85, now. Been over 120 in my Z28, on US202 in Philly 'burbs. My fastest was a solo drive in a NASCAR I did at Homestead, a few years back. 156+ and I didn't even hit the chip. That was way fun. Highly recommended, if you have the money and the time (it was an xmas present that I upgraded, ended up being 4 figures, by the end of the day).

    I don't mind sharing, I guess:

Real stunt drivers are doing those jumps.

    Zero CGI.

You guys have no idea. I have been burning rubber all afternoon in Sunshine because of this thread.

Even after 40, picking up drain cleaner, rabbit food, and sushi for the kids in a 4.6L V8 makes you feel 17 again. Now I'm off to take Mrs Rabbit out for seafood and The Led Zeppelin Experience, complete with overpriced little cups of beer. The good life.

My brother in law wants me to get her a new paint job, matte black (the car, not my wife). I wish I could afford one. Cancel student debt now!

I was wondering on the bruised-banana TA set-up (lol) rig if it was just a normal carb setup with some holes drilled discretely somewhere, blower working or not.

On a more serious note, Son 1 has money burning a hole in his pocket and is talking about putting an offy dp manifold and 4 bbl on his old truck. It already has nice headers and a very nice exhaust set up from previous owner.

I suggested he do a compression (static, lol) test first to see if he has enough to warrant the money and labor he will have to put into it). If the compression is good, OK, might be "worth" it. Truck runs strong now, does not burn any oil we can discern, but leaks it, LOL.

In any case, I think he convinced himself to buy new Carter YFA (stock carb), but we found one that has an adjustable main jet. His twice-rebuilt carb is leaking again. That new carb is about 125 bucks.

I admire his restraint, although I can take some credit for it.

Now he has a line on a F250 High Boy for cheap, really cheap. We will probably take a look at it this weekend. His Mom bought a cherry '72 F250 Camper Special (2WD) from the same guy for a great price. Rebuilt 390 and auto tranny, new tires,..He had all the machine shop records for it, parts and labor invoice, etc. Was a pro job. I read through those things and drove it and told her to effing buy it, was a steal.

The idea is he wants to put his 300 L6 into the highboy (they did come that way from the factory). The he has more hauling capacity, a higher ride, but economy and torque of the L6.

That 300 is a hell of a motor. It has peak torque at around 1800 RPM. He pulled a huge horse trailer with the damned thing, only problem was he has no hook up for the trailer brakes.

Nice! I was into VWs in high school. Built a 1900cc torque motor for my '62 bug. I had fiberglass on front end. Over about 110 mph, the front end would get "light" and I had to slow down. Which was fun with non-power, but hydraulic brakes on all 4 corners...

You can bet I had metallic pads and all-new parts in those brakes, too...

I believed that, after watching her in Twin Peaks.
