Well, it costs money to treat people for mental heath conditions. Mental medications costs a lot of money. So you have to figure out what you are treating and why. There isn't any treatment for rapists, pedos, and canibals. Here is the thing though, pedos don't do anything wrong when there are no kids around. Canibals don't eat people when they don't have the means to do so. Rapists, well there isn't a medication you can give people to stop them from wanting to rape people. As was stated before, that's just what they are into. They just like raping people. No meds for that.

Then we have people who are schizo, depressed, anxious, and have personality disorders. But they are not typically treated as long as they are not causing problems in the general population. As long as they do what they are told there is nothing to treat.

I don't know how it works here in Idaho for inmates in the "regular" prisons. We do have separate facilities for people who are adjudicated as "mental" as it is known.
Depends on how severe the condition is. If they just need medication, there is a medication call out that happens. So they show up to the movement control center and wait there until it's time for medication. Then they go to the medical building and line up at the med window where their meds will be administered. Then back to the dorms or the yard. That happens at various times in the day. Sometimes at night. If it is more severe, they are transferred to a medical unit.
