The riskyness of posting on bullshido.

Has anyone ever had people come after them, sued, or anything else for giving bad reviews of dojo's here? Just wondering.

"Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past."

Ashida Kim promised to come after Osiris/The Villain and Anthony/Pandinha back in the day for punking him out. Both men have since died in mysterious shuriken-related incidents.

Place I worked at asked me not to mention them in any postings on here - I think I may have mentioned their name in a post - as I did it from work the DS team contacted me and I promised not to do it again.

Not quite the same as getting chased by hordes of Ashida Kim's acolytes but probably more effective/dangerous.....

This makes the assumption that Ashida could actually aim and throw a shuriken.

My postings on here have lead to me training in person with people. I've been contacted a few times to meet up. Which my wife though was very weird, by the way. But it developed into some pretty good training and friendships.

My wife thinks it's weird I have Internet friends.

Maybe if I had friends on the ground where I live she wouldn't notice...

Wait 'til she sees my package from Monkeyshines...

I found my current gym 6 years ago by contacting Mr Miyagi on here and asking for recommendations for training when I moved from Sydney to Brisbane. Fast forward 4 years and we work together, train together, and we're good mates. Real bromance stuff.

When I hit the Sunshine Coast I stay with Cualltaigh, who is also a good mate, and was my welcoming committee on my first work day in Brisbane.

Much love to both these guys, they were there in some tough times too.

But yeah, it is weird having internet friends. I love it, though.

I also love that I have/had a reputation for being a **** online. My favourite cringe thing to say is that I am famous in MMA circles on the internet.
