Sitting on the fence here with the Woodley& Maia fight. Being an STL native don't know whether to pull for our Missouri wraasling or Mr. Joo Jiiitzu...think it's funny both aren't too intimated and think it's a good match for each other

The problem for Maia is I can't see how he can get Woodley to the ground. I think this could be a lot like the Masvidal fight only Woodley has more power

Everyone Maia took down in that video is well over 200 lbs in the cage. Chael P. Sonnen being among them.

    DC vs JJ

Gatdamn, I really can't pick this one. *Long pauze* DC.

His camp has worked diligently on improving his gameplan, he's got more (IMO needed) fight experience, he's mentally more robust.

In my heart, I see DC getting the takedown and controlling it on the ground, whilst staying away from the clinch and that long range striking distance (JJ's fortes).

It's a tall task, no doubt.

At the same time, I can easily see a repeat of the first fight...

    DC

I'm going with Jones even thoguh I want DC to win. I think Woodley knocks Maia out in the second and I think to many people are over looking Evenger so I'm picking her to be the latest to stun the world. She's a tough vet that might be able to drag this out enough that Cyborg starts to gas out

Just heard Frank Mir say in a podcast that Jones told him days before their first fight that he wasn't going to finish DC, but draw it out and mentally break him in the grind, because he knew they'd fight again, where he'd try to finish him....

If that's true, that's insane! Wonder if Jackson Wink knew that.

    That is some scary ****!

And he did succeed in all that in their previous fight.

Jones doesn't have huge power, isn't a submission wizard and DC has an incredible chin. Jones has never really developed huge power and never got dominant control on the ground to TKO or sub him.
While that may have been the plan it is really the only viable one.
