Okay... About to commit a bannable offense...

    Best Boxer: https://img.pokemondb.net/artwork/hitmonchan.jpg

But seriously, what makes a boxer good. Wasn't able to watch any of the videos posted but I know one guy put wins as a reason. But is a guy with say 200-50 who can take a beating (and hence push through for the wins) better than a 15-0 who never gets hit?

Is it heart? Technique? Stamina? A combination of all?

Personally I think heart makes a boxer great.

Also, forgive me as I'm not too big on boxing, but I saw a clip once of an African (?) guy whose name I don't remember (and forgive me if it wasnt a legitimate clip as it was some time ago) who was up in the corner and his opponent was throwing a series of varied strikes and he was bobbing and weaving them all with such grace, speed and fluidity it was beautiful.

    Anyway, my 2c...

    My personal favorites are.....

Roy Jones Jr. at Middleweight and Super Middleweight. He was fucking spectacular.

    Mike Tyson in his prime.

You've blasted Naseem Hamed in the past. So why do you find RJJ to be spectacular, whilst The prince only a cocky showboat?

I fucking hated Hamed back in the day. Despised him. I appreciate him a lot more now. I don't have a good answer as to why Hamed rubbed me the wrong way at the time and Roy didn't. Probably just the way his face looked or something.

My vote is a man I never got to see ply his craft, as he retired around the time my grandfather was born. But the greatest featherweight and general defensive fighter of all time is Willie Pep. The only man to win a round without throwing a punch: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willie_Pep

Willie once said that they call Sugar Ray Robinson the best pound for pound, but that he was the best ounce for ounce.
