3 day suspension and a little time in handcuffs vs a bunch of expensive geek toys? Invitations to the White house, Google, Facebook, now I heard MIT is cooking some sort of offer. Yeah that a trade I will take any god damn day of the week

After heavy sunbathing and conversion to Islam maybe you can manage to be arrested for building a shitty clock. Give it a try.

I have been in handcuffs for just doing my job on multiple occasions.

In the end this whole debacle worked out in the kids favor.
I do not begrudge him for this.
I think what the school did was terrible.

The whole native about this kid being some sort of genius is the only thing I take issue with.

No I was a field support engineer for a company that had a contract to service ATMs doing 1st and 2nd line support.

They had something like a 2 hour SLA from when the machine reporting a problem to it being addressed.

Some of the machines I serviced where outside.
Some times people would mistake me for someone breaking into an atm or doing something suspicious with them.

Boring, more prison like. Don't pretend your finger is a gun or they might expel you. Walk the halls with your hands behind your back. And if you even look like you want to argue with a rule it's cuffs or tazed. School is basically bullshit these days.
