    Will MMA ever surpass Boxing?

Do you think MMA will ever see the success that Boxing has in the U.S.?

Right now for financial reasons the top contenders in boxing will never fight under MMA rules unless a circus of events leads them there (Tyson in K1).

I know that they are still out of the environment, but these guys are they best at what they do and if the real money was there they would learn to use their legs and learn to fight on the ground.

It would probably be too late for most of today's fighters, but it would be nice to see the pool of potential MMA'ers grow to what the pool of potential boxers is currently.

I'm a fan of both, but with the current lackluster heavy weight division maybe some ground can be gained.

No. MMA's either too brutal, too slow, or too homosexual, depending on whom you ask. I don't see it catching on in the American market for a long time, if ever.

It should dammit. MMA should be recognised as the pinacle of fighting and all other fighting arts should bow down before it.Its not fair boxers earn more than mma fighters.

I don't ever think it will surpass boxing, as boxing will use it's power to block it.

But I do still feel MMA will grow in popularity.

    Punch & Kick
MMA is a bit harder to catch on. I don't see why Kickboxing/K1/MT doesn't catch on faster though.
Punches in bunches and kicks kicks kicks!
