    New Newbie Presentation

    Hi to all.

I'm a 49yr. old italian physishian and amateur judoka.
When I was a boy I praticed Judo, Karate Shotokan and Kendo.

After the university I quit because I had very few time to train, but when I was 43yr. I enrolled my 5 yr. old son in my old Judo sensei's dojo, that fortunatly now is in front of my house.

He told me: "We have also an adult course, so YOU MUST ENROLL".
I replied: "But now I'm over forty."
He answered: "And I'm nearly eighty what's the problem?"

So I started again whit my son. It was a fantastic experience: it seems to me to have turn back to my gold years. All the little pains to the spine, that I thinked was due to ageing disappeared after a month of rolling on the tatami and I regain my shape.

I think Judo is very good for seniors, because there is low risk of injury (if the traininig is done properly) and it's very healthly.

I'm not a champion nor an expert but I have a lot of passion and I like to share my experience to all the friends of this forum.

    Welcome to Bullshido.

I thought I spelled it wrong, but as I said I'm a mechanic not an English professor.
