I would figure. I've learned a ton just from lurking for a while.

You don't need all this training! Just ask yourself, "WWBRD?"

OP forgot the most important premise of all:

If you are in a fight, expect to get hit/stabbed/shot etc.

Anything that applies to the opponent applies to you. Other than that, you don't need a system, you need to train. Any number a of facilities that already exist will be able to get you where you need to be. Stop over-thinking the problem. Go out there and hit/get hit.
And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

Alright, So I've officially been training in muy thai and boxing for a few months now. What I've learned, keep moving, keep your hands up, and don't switch your stance. Also, after being hit in the face a good bit of times, I realized that this fighting concept is not as terrifying as I originally thought. It's simple, fun, and worth the effort. I can't believe I got freaked out over nothing. So anyway, thanks guys!

Good to see that you are getting some training in! Starting is the hardest part! Once you are going, you will be able to keep it up a lot easier. Good job, check in periodically and update on what you are learning.
