    Catch Wrestling in Los Angeles?

Howdy folks. Anybody know of any place to learn Catch Wrestling in LA? I know Erik Paulson's place out in Fullerton has some integrated into their curriculum... but is there anywhere else? (Fullerton is pretty far from where I live)...

I've heard (using the power of the interwebs) that one of the instructors at this place does catch wrestling, though it doesn't appear on their schedule.

Probably couldn't hurt to message them and find out for sure.

Pure Catch? No, not even Gokor or Inasanto does pure catch. If you choose Inasanto you'd be looking for Ron Balinki (sp?)

Oh, they do (some) Catch over there? I seem to recall them being pretty expensive...

Ron does mainly shooto, which is a bunch of catch via japan. My friend who trains out at Hastyan knows a bunch of catch stuff via Gene, but it's really a sambo/judo place to my understanding.

Ron Balicki has his instructorship in Shoot Wrestling under Yorinaga Nakamura, who comes from the lineage of the late Karl Gotch. One of the best modern-day Catch Wrestlers as in what Gene Lebell is to Judo, Karl was to Catch.
