    How Do Ab wheel?

So I've got this old Ab wheel which I've never bothered to use much.

Being that I've just transitioned from being able to eat icecream all day and not notice it to putting weight on just by being near cake (i.e. I just turned 24 and ****'s changin'), I'm wondering how effective these are?

As in, do these beat crunches? Leg lifts? Cycle crunch things? because i"m

Furthermore, is there more than one exercise? I'm pretty sure I know how to focus on the extension and contraction using the abdominal muscles, but is the entire thing simply "Roll Out - Roll in" ?

I did look up ab wheel, but it just kept bringing up War Wheel.

Sometimes i think my posting in this subforum could be completely replaced by a robot which only says "stronglifts", "Squats and Milk", "eat more" or "ross boxing". Ross has some great ab wheel workouts:

Totally, i hurt watching that guy.

    Disclaimer for the PT subforum:
I figure i should put this in here so that it's clear to those of you who don't or can't read my journal. I have less than 4 weeks serious weight training under my belt, take any advice i give on this topic with a grain of salt. On the other hand, in matters of nutrition, it's usually a good idea to do what i say.

Regularly and vigorously, sir. I haven't used an ab wheel in a while, but when I did, it was a quality core workout.

Ross's variation is interesting, although it looks like it'd be a pain to do two-handed rollouts with.

Not sure how to do the ab wheel or if it work? Start standing, bend over so the wheel reaches the ground, roll all the way out and back to standing. Do it until you can't, then post tomorrow whether you think it works or not.

Most people can't start out doing the standing ones and have to start out on their knees.... But yeah, if you can do standing ones go for it.

You should still do them from your feet...because it's hilarious when someone does a belly flop on hard floor.

Do we have the next video challenge topic ?
