    Hey how goes training?
  2. GB Seattle is just a different training/teaching style than GB Ballard. More focused on conditioning and harder sparring. The schools were the same until 2006 when it split.

Obviously if you're saying "GB Ballard sux kekekeke", I'm not going to agree with you, and I know all the guys who train at GB Seattle and have rolled with, trained with, or competed with/against them often. GB Seattle probably has more people focused on competition, but GB Ballard is getting there--we have a good group of competitors.

Honestly, the best thing to do is just show up and train at both places and see which you prefer.

I noticed you train at GB Ballard? I will probably be moving there from out of state next spring and was wondering how that school is in comparison to GB Seattle? I read on some forum somewhere that GB Seattle is better because more competitors from that school medal in more competitions. Is that accurate or is it just because GB Ballard is smaller? Is Mica Reys a good instructor?
