    How goes training?
  2. So, thanks to the people on this site I was able to find a quality gym near me with a great facility and professional instructors. Went and checked out Buffalo Training Center yesterday and went back to sign up today. Time to shake off the rust and do some work. Can't wait!!!
  3. Hey all,
i read somethin that suggested i should introduce myself to the forums in this forum.
So I'm going to guess that theres not to many left who have studied Isshinryu Karate. And, I do mean full on Isshinryu not the watered down YMCA version. However I only made it to 2nd degree purple. It was real not the YMCA junk. I put that on pause for a few years for football. While on that break my dojo saddley enough closed due to lack of funding. After the Isshinryu Karate, I tried wrestling for two years, as well as BJJ and Muay Tai for a short time after that (less than a year). I also successfully competed in Isshinryu Karate goin 2-0-1.
After suffering some pretty serious sports related injuries I was set back a couple of years with surgeries and rehab. And now, I have one serious MMA itch. I found this web page while looking for a decent school in my area to join, and I hope to learn a lot from all the members here. Can't wait to share and upgrade my MMA knowledge!
