  1. Hi, sorry for the latye response, I only check the site outonce in a while...My Buck sing choy lay fut comes from sifu Chiu kwok-chung. master Chiu is a real nice and real experienced choy lay fut fighter. Unfortunately he only teaches his friends on an ad ghoc basis. He has no school as he earns his living outside the arts. I got lucky as I met him several times at demos when he was demoing (if that's a word) his choy lay fut and i was doing my flying crane (fukien white crane). I always loved choy lay fut so now i practice both arts as best i can...I 'll look for your sifu on you tube if he's there. i met a robert james who i believ is now in vancouver and who does buck sing...They call it buck sing fut gar i believe but it's coy lay fut...How long have you been practicing?

In Burnaby, BC actually. My sifu is Gary Seto, who was a student of late Grandmaster Wong Ha. Before Gary, I had checked out a few other sifus around who were also students of the Grandmaster, but some it seemed had gone the wushu route. Not that I have anything against wushu (to each their own I say), but I was looking for more serious Choy Lee Fut. So Gary's the guy who so happens to teach near my area, and who comes close to that.

How about you? I was checking around for some Buk Sing last year, but no luck around here. :(
