About DicaxStultux
Primary Style:
Kickboxing, bājqun
Northwest Arkansas
Other Interests and Information:
History buff, self-instructing student of classical philosophy, poetry, and prose, professional toilet-wizard, delusions of grandeur. I also enjoy knitting chainmail, roadtrips, and banging my wife.
You take a **** at my place of employment after 11PM, and I'm the lucky bastard who cleans it up. I'm also a college student. Whee.
Martial Arts Experience:
USTF Taekwon-do, Helena, AR - 1995-2000 (Couldn't afford belt promotion costs.)

Shinkendo, Toyama-ryu battodo, aikido (Yoshinkan-style, under the Aikibujutsu Tanren Kenkyukai), Dojo of Springdale, AR - 2002-2003 (Sensei arrested for child exploitation)

~2 years of self-study and training in kickboxing, received casual instruction from a former JKD kickboxer, and Muay Thai amateur fighters

Yang-style tijqun and Shorin-ryu karate, Fayetteville, AR - 2005-2006 (24 simplified forms, and Naihanchi-kata from Kyan Chotoku-o'sensei's lineage. Informal, no belts, learned bunkai as I went and used what I could in sparring with Muay Thai friends)

Multiple years of self-study and practice, learning a smattering of wrestling and BJJ, some CMA, and FMA from friends and old partners

Shotokan, Krav Maga (KAPAP), boxing, Springdale, AR - 2012-2013 (studied multiple days a week, for hours at a time. Got a lot of one-on-one time with hard sparring under full-contact karate, international kickboxing, and USA boxing rules. School moved to another city, and then I moved to Seattle a while after)

Spent a brief time with the Lonin Group in Seattle, AR, studying Fiore's longsword and rondel dagger, and considered joining a Kyokushin class. Couldn't, due to saving money to return to AR to acquire my car, before it broke down half-way in Wyoming.

Currently a student at the Luohan Wushu Kung Fu Center in Tulsa, OK, studying bājqun. Considering also joining a gym to train in boxing, Muay Thai, SAMBO, and judo. Wanting to get into Lei Tai and San Shou/San Da.
"If you can't dance, you **** a lot of waitresses." - Voltaire

"Be fit for more than the thing you are now doing. Let everyone know that you have a reserve in yourself; that you have more power than you are now using. If you are not too large for the place you occupy, you are too small for it." - James Garfield
