I am not. I decided against it after spending money on a few other sambo-related things.

I'm currently over in Cyprus, next to Turkey and Syria, doing some stuff with FIAS, which is the governing body.

Talking about the neck bridges, or the eagle dance?

    Regular wrestling neck bridges.

Example with me doing a wannabe Azerbaijani celebration dance.

Moving is always better, after you have mastered the basic movements.

It is a key part of skills development. Gotta do it. Find some like-minded people at your club, and work with them.

Yeah. Or recommended by the coach.

They do high, high, high amounts of repetitions of specific throws, and lots of bodyweight movements. Climbing ropes, pushups, etc.

Traditionally, sambists weren't advised to lift a lot of weight. Kharlampiev's book on sambo conditioning says that weightlifting is relatively useless, although he does advocate low-volume amounts of power cleans. I disagree, but it is extremely important to only do what is beneficial, and doesn't affect your performance in your sport.
