              It is. It's very well written, and it gives a good insight into what martial arts training in China is actually like. It has, of course, evolved over the decade and a half since Matt's experience took place, but his description of CMA in the early nineties was pretty similar to my encounter with it when I went to train in China in 2004.

                        I wonder how many of those demo moves were used in the Sanda he was learning? (I'm assuming it was Sanda or something, 'cause it's clearly kickboxing with sweeps and throws, if the first vid from the temple is any indication).
