Pros vs. Joes - Randy Couture

Anyone watch Pros vs. Joes on Spike after UFC Fight Night? After watching all three guys - all over 6 ft, all over 200 lbs - get thrown around like mannequins I'd say there'll be three new MMA gym memberships starting.
Watching these guys is awesome, they all see themselves as athletes and clearly they're in an area that is so far out of their experience. It was like watching a take-down and tap demo with compliant partners.
Will repeat Friday, Sat, Sun, Weds on Spike if you're interested.

The best part was watching the other pros, who've probably never seen the UFC and were all much bigger than Coture, shaking in fear. I'll bet this earned some respect for real grappling with the average sports fan.

No no, the funniest part of that guy was him talking to Big John and actually telling him "You know, I"m a close quarters combat instructor." I can only imagine what was going through Big John's head.

US Army CQC is largely comprised of jiu jitsu, no? Where do systema or krav come into play?

I think I also heard them say army reserves, not special forces.
