Why would a gay guy want to practice bjj. It takes agression, pain, sweat and messes up his nails and hair and he will stink afterwards. Plus he could be spending the time actually having gay sex.

It just doesn't add up.

That is very aggravating.

I'd really like to see a fight between the writers of this show and Brazilian Top Team, but I guess I'll have to content myself with watching this show tank worse than "Life With Bonnie."

On the plus side, maybe this will reduce popular demand for BJJ, thereby driving down prices.

I don't get how the fuck peoplel think greco/roman wrestling or bjj is homoerotic. One of my pals made a comment once at the bar about it being gay, so i put him in a choke nd asked:"you turned on pal...is this getting you hot." It might seem like an overreaction (no I'm not a homophobe) but this guy kept saying it for like two months whenever anyone (mostly attractive girls we'd meet in the bar) would ask about it. He;s never mentioned it being gay again.

Seriously, the comment was off base (but funny as hell). The gayest sport there is will always be Collegiate wrestling (let's put two guys in tight spandex and have them roll around on a mat together). At least BJJ involves actually inflicting pain.

The only reason I think anyone would say that about BJJ is because holding someone in your guard...I guess.


And...for the record...the gayest sport ever is anything that should be considered art instead of sport because it involves a selection of music...you know...like figure skating

I'd have to say North-South is right up there, too. I had an epiphany one day while at the bottom of North South. "Hey, this guy's ass is resting right on my head! That's disgusting!" Then I quickly forgot about it.
