Well the guys from Felony Fights decided to test this out. Pro MMA cage fighter vs. Experienced Street Fighter, bareknuckle, street style.

Exactly, if you don't have the heart to go that way then you shouldn't be doing that type of fighting. I don't think I would've had the heart to finish it the way it needed to be finished either to be fair, well I would've at least gone for a shoulder break.

Good fight, and the MMA fighter's lack of desire to continue beyond his obvious victory is a credit to MMA fighters. Unfortunately, I don't think that showing this video to people who think MMA is barbaric is going to sway many of them ... ; )

I really don't see this stopping the whole debate on whether or not it works on t3h str33tz. Same garbage thats' been used forever will still be spouted out: No Broken Glass, Prearranged fight, No Multiple Opponents, Lack of Ninjas. It was good to see at least, but what was up with the Street Fighter talking himself up at the end? One sided as hell and your still pulling the tough guy act? :homo:

Extremely valid point. Most street fight you see tend to feature some cock who just pounds the shit outta someone whose already out of action and helpless for their own twisted enjoyment.

Liked the way the mma guy realsied what a dumb thing the whole thing was and spoke up against it (although he did go back for more).

I was actually a little surprised by what seemed to be a real lack of standup ability on the MMA guys part and the fact that it look him a long time to even try and ttake it to ground

Well to be honest the streetfighter did seem to have some limited competance in stand up... relied on his range a bit.

The MMA fighter was just a cool customer though, laid back and calm.
