Aikido vs Muay Thai

I don't read Russian, but are you sure that was Aikido ? or are we assuming that because of some of the wrist controls he attempted and the fact that his coaches were wearing hakama ?
There's lots of other japanese-themed MA that have higher grades wearing hakama, at least two of which, (Yoseikan Budo and Shorinji Kempo) teach striking as well as locks and throws, and spar with contact regularly. That 'aikido' guy threw a couple of spinning back kicks, so I think he was more likely from one of those styles.

That was a very interesting video.
It might not be pure aikido but it is a least very very close to aikido.
I think it could be aikido because a couple of times he put the boxer on the ground but then he's kind of lost.
On he other hand i've practised some aikido and i'm quite surpised to see the gi guy stay in direct contact line, he dosn't move much.

This is how the search function is used.
You proceed to the upper right hand corner of the screen and click where, amazingly, it says "search". Now you are in the unbelievably cool search function, there you will find two spaces, one is for searching by "key words", the other by "user's name", your choice. Type words relevant to your search, press enter and there you go, nifty results like this:

Isn't it nice to use the search function?
