I went today to buy some .40 caliber and 9 mm rounds and a few boxes of buckshot to add to my [seriously lacking] stockpile. The first store had none of the ammo I needed, the second had the buckshot but not the others, and the 3rd and 4th had no pistol rounds at all. I finally had to go to the store at the shooting range and buy it from them at a higher cost.
If it keeps.
Apparently, people are hoarding bullets now, and it's not making this whole preparedness thing very easy.

Now that I think about it what you'd really want for zombie invasion is a Browning Automatic Rifle loaded with .30 cal JSPs.

Here are my zombie killing firearms.
I'm thinking for a vehicle, mounting one of these in the back of a GMC HD dually would work for dealing with large numbers of zombies.
For a melee weapon, I'm thinking a cutlass.

In NJ you have to apply at you local police dept for a permit for each pistol you buy (long guns you can purchase with a firearms ID card only). Waiting times vary, by statute it is to be issued in 60 days. My friend just turned in the paperwork in his town and was told 3-4 months. I turned mine in Fri night and was told I coluld pick mine up on Tue. My friend is doomed to be zombie fodder. NJ sucks but at least the cops in my town have their shit together.
