Looked good. Maybe just relax more? Maybe you could find people you dont train with often or havent trained with before to roll with, that might help you relax when it comes to tourny time.

    Looked good meng

It's a low % technique, use it as part of lockflow. Once your opponents realize you are going for elbow or straight arm bar, they will try to curl it and clasp their hands. Soon as they are trying to curl their arms to avoid -bar, flow into ude garami.

One thing tho, it's not worth loosing mount position to switch to kesa gatame. Switch to kesa gatame if you can't hold mount position then try but shouldn't try to switch to kesa gatame when you had a pretty solid mount like in the vid. Even then, try to go from mount to side mount back to mount. If not then try mount to side mount to kesa gatame.

Are you talking about elbow lock off kesa gatame? If you are, that's low % move.

Even in Judo, that is still pretty shitty move. He shouldn't have switched.

besides, it feels a little safer than sidemount for me at the moment when jumping back and forth to rack up points.

Good job man. The first match was complete domination, good positional control; the second suffered from the "conjoined twins submission leg lock" syndrome. However, you came out on top so that's all that matters.

Out of the two, I liked the first one more.

I would recommend never ever giving up mount for kesa gatame like you do in the second fight.
Apart from that I'd say you seem so be doing a lot better than the 4 month white belts we have at my school. Have you competed in other sports before?

Now both of your links are to the same match. Neither of which is a win on points. Also if you could point out who you are in each match, that'd be just super.

And also - I posted way more clearly labeled vids, why'd I not get any attention? :P I probably suck more too.
