I thought there used to be a school forum, maybe in Newbietown, but this is specifically a BJJ post so I'm putting it here.
In general, I'm finally doing some training with a couple of friends for striking stuff - one I'm bringing up to speed in basic generic kickboxing, one is into the FMA so we're working that.
Slowly, and I'm no expert, but I've done enough over the years to be qualified for beginner training. It's nothing fancy, but I'm starting to feel halfway competent again.
My ground game still sucks, though. As in, it's almost nonexistent.
So I'm looking at MMA and BJJ schools near me.
I'm in Gaithersburg, MD, and there's a relatively new place in town that I haven't had a chance to visit yet. Brazu Academy, http://www.brazuacademy.com/, looks like they're mainly Gracie linege.
Anyone know them, have opinions or experiences to share?
Probably can't get in to see them for a few weeks at least, but Bullshido is always a good place to ask!
So let me know what the scoop is - no flames, please?
