THis are the places that I have seen teach the real traditional stuff. I know there are more, not many but more. If you go to any of the schools they can point you to the masters of the other styles, as they all know each other.

No... now your getting into this stupid sport vs the real art crap. I have trained in Thailand for 9 months of my life. Going there in three month intervals. Your teacher in the video is performing for tourists... that’s all that is. You want to tell me that sanchaei doesn’t practise the real Muay Thai or Buakow... then you have been dipping too much into Valium at your local pharmacy. You trace the lineage back to a Kru who apparently had 13 different teachers... how does that even compute into a lineage.
Which rural area do you live in? It is extremely hard for a phalang to get citizenship in Thailand, how did you go about doing that?
I’m thinking you full of it. Cause what your saying was not the reality of my time there at all.Last edited by lant3rn; 5/13/2019 8:36am, .

You know how I knew my instructors were legit, because they befriended me and I would go watch 1 or 2 of them fight every Saturday night. We would all hope in a truck together and just go and have a good time after. Everyone of them had a different Ram Muay, not one was the exact same. Which stadium does your gym do its fighting out of? who is your promoter. How do you even get there in the morning if you live that far outside Bangkok? I'm pretty sure that sardine can of local railway doesn't go out that far.

I never said anything about sports vs real or whatever, simply I am stating that same as it happened with Karate and other arts, the sports and competition are harming it and the transmission of it. You can get out of that what you want.
In this video you can see Bwakaw performing different moves that are included in many Ram Muay.

As I said, in old times and still today gyms have their signature Ram Muay. My first Gym, worawootrungrod is a rural sports gym and has theyi own Ram mUay, which consists of some moves that are also present in many other Ram mUays, as Yang Saam Khum. You dont probably know what this is, just go there to compete in the ring, which is fine, but dont tell me I am full of shit and try to be more open and polite.
This is the website I did for my old Gym in Na Klang,

Is not working any more, it was to bring english speakers to the camp, I was trying to help my teacher out.
The white thing in the pics is me.
My actual gym, Baanchangthai fights in Bangkok regularly and my gym partner Ple, fought in Max Muay Thai recently. There is a post where I share his fight here in Bullshido.
Here is apicture of me with olympics boxing gold medallist in our gym at the school in Nongbualamphu

I go to Bangkok to train whenever I can and I trained in my school and in the Na Klang gym 2 or 3 times a week. The rest of the days I used to train karate in my dojo in my garden. I can tell you that your experience of 9 months is very little time, and that fighting in Thailand is super easy, forget about that promoter shit, any muy thai camp can get you a fight in the first 2 weeks that you practice, specially if you are a white boy in a rural area, they will love to see you in a fight with local fighters.
Here is with my pals from Baanchangthai, after a friday fight in Bangkok

If you need help with your visa or something you can ask politely, I will help you with that too as far as my experience is concerned. I do have Thai license and 13 social security number, as any Thai citizen.

I am not a professional fighter and I do not compete for personal reasons, my post is to clarify some of the misunderstandings that surround Muay Thai and to help divulge knowledge, this represents gratitude to your teachers. There are many misocnceptions that westerners have about Asia, and viceversa, so I got this kind of trouble from westerners and I got it from asians whe I try to tell them that many of the ideas they have about us are wrong.

What "style" of Muay Thai did they teach you at the school in Na Klang? Nothing you are saying here is backing your claim about learning the traditional and ancient Muay Chaiya. Did you bother to even read Kru Pedro self biography on his website or the history that is school is presenting online?. It is quite the miraculous tale of martial prowess.
There are a million scams going on in a minute in Thailand and the idea of practising the Traditional Form of Muay Thai is one of them. But don't take my word for it here is link to someone's work, who actually did research.

http://www.samkhum.com/en/muay-chaiya.html
Muay Chaiya is one of Thai fighting styles that had helped in the defense of the kingdom for a long time. Muay Chaiya's origin is in the southern province of Suratthani in the ancient city of Chaiya. Once upon a time, during the reigns of the first kings of the Maha Chakri dynasty, there lived a monk from Bangkok who travelled to Chaiya. The locals of Chaiya called him 'He who arrived', referring to the fact that this legendary figure had arrived to Chaiya from Bangkok. Before becoming a monk, he was a soldier but after he became tired his mundane and worldly possessions he became a monk and travelled to Suratthani. Once arrived in Chaiya, he began teaching the martial arts that he knew to the locals of the city as if they were his own children. One of the students whom he taught was Phraya Wacheesatyarak (Kham Sriyabhai), the governor of Chaiya at that time, and since then, the branch of Muay Thai taught by 'the Monk' came to be known as Muay Chaiya.Last edited by lant3rn; 5/13/2019 10:32am, .

Na Klang and Nong BUal gyms are regular sports Muay Thai gyms. I dont read or promote Kru Pedro, I just said that based on what I heard of him and his videos he looks good to me. I am not saying nothing about magic, but I can tell you something, if you go with that attitude to Thailand, specially about their religious and mystical beleives you are not gonna get much out of them. Good luck with that.
I taught english as an extra, my wife and I had a gardening shop and teak woodshop. I did my research, not in the internet as you did, but on site. Enjoy your day

I don't need help with a visa, It's pretty easy to get a visa. There is lots of information out there about how to do it.
I want to know the process you went through to become a citizen. If you're back in Spain now it might mean you're not a full citizen yet and your work visa you were piggy backing on has expired. I only know of one man who successfully pulled off becoming a citizen(and he was a pretty wealthy mofo) every other foreigner I know just keeps getting their visa renewed to live there, and has to leave briefly in between renewals
