If badass of the year is for an individual rather then a group then I think it comes down to the 9-year-old who choked the pitbull or the pro fighter who dove into the river & saved people from a crashed & sinking car. A give a slight edge to the grown-up there, but it's close.

I thought the most entertaining fight of the year was Carlos Condit vs. Hiromitsu Miura.

As for Bully of the year...Mtripp didn't start posting until early 2009, so I really have no idea.

Badass: The pitbull kid - RNC of a dangerous dog and "He held the dog for 20 minutes until an animal control officer arrived" he's nine, all respect to the marines but that takes balls, to do. He could have just run to off and looked for an adult without anyone thinking the less of him but didn't.
