                        i just watched the first judo stuff on bravo. i was fairly dissapointed :( i hope it gets more exciting than that and more coverage than two matches a night....

                          Man, I was looking all over the net, even on the NBC Web page for that schedule. Then I had a thought "hmm..maybe someone on bullshido posted something" Sure enough, Phrost came through!

                            what are the rules for how long they stay on the ground, because it appeared to be less than 20 seconds. I expected that though, what i was upset by was that there was also no throwing, it was all defense with wins by smaller point gains. i think there was one half point, that being the biggest score. i'm not especially familiar with judo competition rules. How common is an ippon in the olympics?
