Update: The school was sold to black belt Roy Davis.

I don't know much about Roy, but he was dumb enough to bring his kids around Alvis for many years.

As I posted before its no hidden secret. I have never trained at solis or any martial arts but my husband has and said he left because of this very thing. Basically he knew somone who was a victim of alvis and left for that reason and few others. Basically he said this alvis is a weirdo and creep and noticed from the get go he was flirting with all the women. My husband didn't think anything of it until he found out about somone being sexually harrassed. That's when he decided to leave not to long after. Also my husband also said something was off about him. my heart goes out to his wife though, I can't imgine what she's thinking or if she even knows. Also I'm glad all these women are stepping up, people like this have no place in an enviorment like this.

Takes a lot of gall to stand up to a sexual predator while concurrently being one yourself...hypocrisy at its finest.

Thank you to all the women that have come forward to expose Solis for what he is, a predator with no place in our art.
Yeah, I was just about to ask that same thing.

I feel like I was used to cloak his real game in my sincere fight against sexual abuse in Jiu jitsu.

Nah ... I doubt he even connected what he was doing with what you were fighting against in his head. It was just another way to be and present a tough guy and authoritarian image. I still don't think his totally dripping machismo story on your blog sounds legit, it looks and sounds like some strange savior or white knight stuff from his quotes.

This reminds me of something I read on an animal activists page about people posing as pro-women, anti-abuse, anti-animal abuse too things, she said...

There's probably some kind of terminology for people like that.

As long as we're on the topic, word is that Hee Sung Lee of Korea BJJ Academy in Seoul Korea (who got his black belt from Team Axis) has raped female students then threatened them to keep their mouths shut.

Did you read the beginning of this post?

You better come with more than that (and probably put it in separate thread) if you're going to come out with allegations of rape.....

I'm gonna speak on this. Got chewed up on reddit for it, but fuck it.

I think that the root of this is that this guy is just bad at sex. By the stories presented, the women had no choice but to reject him. He then got all rapey. I think a better approach would've saved all parties involved a headache and he may have even gotten laid in this ordeal. I don't think he was wrong to attempt sex, as men tend to do that. I don't see an issue with fucking 18 year olds either.

As for TLI, I think he figured since he wasn't a rapist, he could ignore his personal conflicts with women and attack Schultz. As he himself is judged. Some women hate me. Some like to give me blow jobs. So I won't judge this man for his attempts at sexual intercourse. I will judge him for how he went about it after rejection though. In that he was wrong.

Just my analysis of the situation as it stands. I have no emotional investment in this.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Things must be getting pretty desperate if this is news. Yeah... The guy's a creep. But people are acting like he's a child molester or rapist.

Most legit sports organizations (as in governing bodies) have these things called "Coach Ethics" and guidelines.

One of the more prominent ones is usually that coaches are forbidden to engage in sexual relationships with their students.

You see, it's a power thing. The coach/teacher/sensei is in a position of authority/power. That power can be abused.

Just imagine, we are at Villain School of Martial arts.

Hot chick comes in (no pun intended), pays her membership and trains.

Ends up sucking your dick or more.

Ugly fat chick comes in, pays same amount of money for instruction.

Hot chick gets promoted sooner to blue belt than ugly fat chick, although both are comparable in skill in and experience. Both are paying for instruction, but you wouldn't let the ugly fat chick suck your cock even if she wanted to.

So can you see a problem with that from a business standpoint, even if you don't find the ethics of the situation bothersome ?

                              jdempsey, your reading comprehension sucks.

We're acting like he's a rapist because in this very thread, people are saying things like this, emphasis mine:

He then sat down in a chair and scooted up towards me and started to stick his and up my pants, i kept trying to swat him off but he continued and got more and more forceful. I started to curl up my legs and talk about church and god. He then started telling me how all the women want him at church etc. I curled up into fetel position and held my legs tight while he continued but i tried to keep my cool not knowing what was going to set him off to become more forceful.
                              and

he followed me to the women's dressing room, pushed me against a wall and forcefully kissed me
Because you and TheVillain seem to be fucking retarded, let me spell it out for you:

BOTH OF THOSE ARE REPORTS OF SEXUAL ASSAULT.

That's not just being a creep. That's not just being bad at sex. That's not just being awkward or blunt or a weird guy. That's being a sexual predator. So far we haven't heard a story of him successfully executing a rape, but these stories are pretty damn close.

I mean, that's in addition to the fact that he's abusing his position of power, and I'm not even getting into the parts of the above story that involve him preying on an underage girl. Those are important, but honestly let's just stick to the one basic thing: we have multiple reports of him sexually assaulting women training under him. So yeah, I'd say that's pretty serious.

Students are clients, you don't have sexual relations with clients ... unless you are a prostitute then it is expected and part of the agreed upon service(s) rendered.

                                Why is this hard people?
