trust me, this guy is insane. i have trained with hiim, and hes a total tool and uses "samurai" as an excuse for things. he deletes all negative comment about him on his blog...... meaning what? is that what a "samurai" does?


samurai is an excuse to him, not a lifestyle or beleif set.....

edit - Sephiroth gave me a ride home today, i still think hes insane and this whole situation is with Bryan is sad, and that his opinions are flawed and idealized Asianophile jibberish, but i do respect that hes a nice guy and and interesting person to know. Plus, he seems too emotionally triggered by Bryans comments on him to say anything else, and he has given the whole "im inherently better then him because i know the way of the warrior" speach, that i dont know how to argue now, but...... oh well. Ill leave it be for now....

If he really knows "the way of the warrior" let him show up at an ARMA seminar and spar with someone who actually trains with a sword as opposed to jerking off on his wallhanger for "oni powers". Will he have an excuse for bieng "owned" then?

As well as ask if this means the college samurai diary is being discontinued?

Hey guys no offense, but I was kinda into the College Samurai and not into the dojo dramma about the "real life of a misunderstood samurai" .
This guy is really overdrammatic living the way does not mean acting like you live in feudal japan. And he toke it too far when he challenged the guy to a sword fight. That sed if the "Ninja" says he can teleport he is just as much a tool.

I guess I just don't understand why someone would go full-tilt into a fantasy world in this way. Is life so very boring for him that he has to create and surround himself in this crap just to make things more interesting? I remember being 8 years old and watching something like 'Revenge of the Ninja" and thinking "WOW! NINJAS ROCK!" and thinking how cool it would be to grow up to be a ninja. But then the next day I saw an episode of The Six Million Dollar Man and started trying to throw furniture around (much to my Mom's amusement) and forgot all about that Ninja crap. :)

It sounds to me like this poor kid never grew up from that 8-yr-old stage... :sad3: Kinda sad, really...

kind of new on here.
ive read through the thread (missing out a few of the non-diary posts im afraid)
the teenage ninjer diaries were excellent.
and shadow stalker, you are doing well,( taking on another persons brainchild is a toughie)
there is much material that may be worked with here, so if you were thinking of killing the samyuray off, please dont.
as previously suggested, perhaps there can be a series of these things, which eventually, not just put on a website, but can be compiled in a book or something?
