Yep. It's fan fiction, what do you expect.

'Cause, as you well you know...

I actually have that tattoo. I'm a comic book ninja, though, not something ridiculous like a Booj member.

You're the reason they can't have nice things.

Ninja don't usually bother me when they train h2h, if they want to LARP I say let them. When I worry is when they train with real weapons, it's then that they become a threat to their own safety and the safety of others. I remember arguing with a LARPer once on the legality of practicing in our local park with a katana. He refused to believe that swinging a real sword around in a park full of kids might get him arrested or hurt someone. I should mention to that he was dressed exactly like van-Helsing from the movie. I don't mind if people have their delusions or want to swing a sword around, but keep that shit at home.

Which is explicitly against MAP's TOS. And then he argued with staff about it.

I get Phrost's (and others') beef with MAP. MAP would rather its members were polite than honest and it's very heavy-handed about protecting everyone's feelings, sometimes to the point of stifling good conversations and/or defending some pretty silly beliefs. That's why I don't spend much time around there anymore.

Bullshido's opinion that live training and sparring is necessary in training for combat and self defense situations. An opinion that is non-negotiable. This "strong" opinion is against the the majority of MAP posters and mods. While it's ok to disagree with them at first, they expect you to come around to their way of thinking or at least respect their way is valid. If you don't you are banned.

"(Per se the attacker was of a similar build to you, perhaps a bit larger)"

From the original post in the MAP thread. It makes me angry. When per se is misused to mean "as such" I kind of get it and still catch myself doing it but using it in place of "for example"? There is no excuse, just none. Knowing that someone out there uses per se so completely incorrectly and practices ninjutsu actually offends me.

At the time MAP was run by a TKD mom that got very upset when people disagreed with her or were mean. She was overweight and often ban Bullshido members accounts for pointing out the fact.

At the same time I was telling people in the Ninjutsu forum they should be sparring and a few Bullshido members came to support me. Everyone that supported me was accused of being a Duplicate account of mine. Most of the threads ended up as:

Ninja: We don't need to spar because I know what will work in a fight
Plasma: I disagree, Live training is a necessary part of training
Ninja Mod: Plasma, if you aren't going to add to the conversation I am going to ban you
Plasma: I am adding, the OP's assertion is wrong
    Ninja Mod: *PERMANENT BAN*

After this happened to several Bullshido's members after me, they locked down the Ninjutsu forum and since been treated with Kids gloves as not to break their Ninja delusion.
