    Old Instructer

A place I used to go to, many of the guys and gals didn't kick correctly.

I didn't realize this until I went at trained at another school for a little bit and came back.

I mentioned it to the lead instructor, who just brushed it off.
Stated that most of them wouldn't stay very long, and it really wasn't all that important.
Besides which, none of them would be fighting for real and didn't need to know how to kick properly.

    :angry5:

This was a Tae Kwon Do school in Pensacola, left there a while back, but it still burns the heck out of me.

Please read the stickies. This forum is for serious discussion, and not for generic crying about state of the school.

I suggest you fix that attitude of yours, it'll make your stay in here a lot less painfull.

Does the school have a website? Or even a name? In case you didn't know, a thread where someone just plainly states that many Tae Kwon Do schools are full of shit has been done already.

I feel fully entitled to call myself a dumbass, thanks. I only miss the neon sign, with arrows and bold letters. :)

I know Taekwondo is constantly derided, this was just something a buddy of mine reminded me of.

Dang, that kind of goes beyond the usual dumbfuckery found in B.S. martial arts schools.

"They're short timers, who cares" is a horrible attitude for any kind of learning environment.

You did right by getting out of there. Maybe you should poach the students he was neglecting?

Did they wave their arms around and/or fist pumped when they kicked?
