    The book or movie?

If you mean the book, why do we all need to get killed failing to destroy a bridge?

Ah, but was that the "real" AriesKai or that naughty teenager who lives in his hotel room and uses teh internetz without supervision?

Also, how did he do on Martialtalk? Seeing as how the site's owner came here to ridicule us for thinking any faker could get past their rigorous screening process (hee, hee, hee) I assume AriesKai was weeded out before he could post a single word...right?

    Damn I hate fakers....

If he knew ANYTHING anout the Air Force, he would have known that the most/best trained people are the PJs, (Pararescue). Combat Controllers, well trained that they are, do not have half the time in training as PJs.

I have a question for our verified military members. Why would a Captain go to Drill Sergeant school. When my brother was in the army(B-4-2 "Hardcore Saints") all of his D.I.'s were sergeants not commissioned officers, of course there was a Captain at the Basic and AIT graduation ceremonies. Please I am very curious and don't want foot in mouth disease.

    Right?

You should come down to my department. We'd fuck you up, boy.
    What a fucking loud mouth.
I wish the Mods would let their IPs slip so people could go stop them from making these hallowed grounds unclean with their garbage.

If this guy WAS in the military he's one of those privates that fake family problems to avoid deploying so he can hone his call of duty skills and rock out dressing up like a SEAL playing airsoft.

The kid lost me at people training H2H or well...anything for 20 hours a day. I understand boot and some of the other training camps and what they're supposed to accomplish, but it sounds like he heard somebody's worst-case Parris Island stories and thought that was the whole job.

How long could you even survive that lifestyle, given adequate nutrition and medical care? I'm betting under a year.

    Death Blossom.

    Death Blossom!

    Quick Kick? Snake Eyes? Jinx?
Oh. You're in Ireland, so I'll blindly assume for the moment that you are, in fact, Irish.

While that would ordinarily equal pure awesome; here it seems to mean you are woefully ignorant of a surprisingly important bit of American martial arts lore: the Larry Hama penned GI Joe comic book series from Marvel which affected the perceptions of millions of kids about the badassery of properly trained ninja. :ninjafigh
I know the UK had Action Man, but it wasn't the same. :911flag: And I don't know if any of that filtered onto the Holy Sod of Erin.

Too bad. maybe you can find reprint collections on Amazon. Search for "Larry Hama."
