I get what your saying mate, I really do. But consider the fact that as a WHOLE, it is far simplier for others to learn basic terminology rather than spend a frustrating ten minutes posting a response full of simple terminology attempting to explain a technique without confusing the reader.

Same formula applies at the mechanics, bottleshop and grocery store.

Listen carefully, my thread was a general statement using one recent example, I am not specifically telling Coach Josh anything, I am not talking about Judo specifically and I certainly never said I know grappling better than elite level anyone, nor do I think that is the case. I never accused anyone of posturing, I was forced to expose my opinion in relation to people on a basic forum giving answers that were applicable only to people in the know, which, in my opinion, defeats the purpose of a basic forum if you have to go elsewhere to decipher the code used in a forum that discusses basic technique. That is my opinion.

Your infuriation is your problem, not mine. The majority disagreed with my suggestion and I have stated several times I will maintain the status quo, however, I will also hold my opinion as stated.

Then people began mistaking me for the OP in my vague example thread and I had to make sure that that person wasn't unfairly implicated in my own opinion. Then people went off on tangents unrelated to the intention of the thread. I never strayed from my opinion yet was mauled for it and happily accepted the mauling because my suggestion was deemed, by the majority of posters, to be unworkable.

This has actually been a good discussion, other than the overreactions of some members who really didn't seem to get it.

If I wanted to be obnoxious, I would apologize that your feeble mind was forced to learn something new and foreign so that you could enter the global conversation regarding Judo and throws in general. Then I would point out that I, and countless others who have never formally studied Judo, had taken the time to learn the nomenclature without complaining about the necessity of doing so. Instead we took the time to educate ourselves in order to enjoy the privilege of intelligent discussion.

I googled it before I even started the thread, took me, like, twenty seconds. Three to load up google, three to enter the word, three for google to load search results, three to open search result and eight to read the fucking thing.

I offer the following suggestion if you use internet explorer with the search funkshun in the top right corner.
1) Set it to default google
2) Type your term into it
3) Alt+enter will open the search in a new tab
4) Close tab when done, and bullshido will be as you left it.
=efficient searching

Of course...not everyone uses internet explorer, and I'm thinking of switching over to firefox myself...
