The dude that wrote the article was at Stanford at the time and Milt is/was in Hayward. Close proximity allowed for face-to-face time, which really ended up making Milt a less sympathetic character.

The author could have and probably should have mentioned, at least in passing, the successful investigations the site has participated in. Surely with the article being 12 pages, there was ample space and time to do. It would have added to the article, but didn't detract from it. I found the author over-attempt to appear overly fair to both.

when i was contacted through my kung fu association by someone i am "related" to who was upset at something i wrote on here, they made a big deal out of the fact that they were able to "find" me.

uhhh, i publicly talk about where i train, and what days, i have a photo of me in my profile, so as long as you can tell me apart from joachim hansen*, and can read the english language, i'm not hard to find.

* my wife has pointed out that to her japanese friends i am indistinguishable from hansen in that photo, but that's cause all white guys look alike.

I'm the opposite but, I have contacted people with my real name and legit email address. So, I always find the anonymous crap a cover.


Yes, sometimes the threads are started by "anonymous" posters. Funny thing is, I can pull up 15-20 threads where we jump all over anonymous posters for starting poor investigations.

Also, many of the legit investigations are headed by people easily found and contacted. Hell, Milton spent his entire time harassing Tom Kagan.
