Frank Dux...Hollywood hype or true master?

I hope this hsn't been on the forum yet. I'm new here and there are so many threads do go through.

Frank Dux, real or a fake? I'm curious as to what the members here think.

Nope, totally new ground, never been done before.

Yes, he is 100% legit. Bloodsport is possibly one of the most accurate portrayals of ninjas ever. Well, modern ninjas anyway. For a detailed look at historical ninjas I recommend the classic movie Ninja Scroll.

    In conclusion:

Thank you Evil. I had read some things claiming he was a fake and things he said he did were lies, yet other things I read said he's pretty much a true badass and a true master. I will check out the movie you mentioned:) Thanks.

Please don't; I was trolling you.

Frank Dux, like Ashida Kim and any other person claiming to be a ninja, is a fraud.

Bloodsport and Ninja Scroll are both works of fiction.

Do not train with Frank "Put up your" Dux.

It's not a great movie, but it was quoted a lot when I was at school. Barely a day went by without someone saying "No I show you trick or two" or something.

A good movie about multiple styles fighting at a tournament, although it's a Kung Fu movie and not about ninjas, is Master of the Flying Guillotine. It has a lot of hokey crap and some good fight scenes, as well as one of the best Indian characters ever.

Crushing, you're becoming a man now, and part of being a man is learning things you may not want to know. Sit down, we need to have a talk...

As long as you don't tell me that Bruce Lee isn't the world's best NHB fighter, we should be ok.

Of course he is; Bruce Lee invented NHB. Of course the Koreans invented Bruce Lee, so in a way Korea also invented NHB.

And pizza. Korea invented pizza too.

I believe the quote was "Now I show you some tricks or two!" Seems like if they could have spliced Cyborg and Bloodsport together, it'd have been a helluva movie. Or, wait, isn't that sort of what Universal Soldier was? Nevermind...

Actually, y'know, if Dolph and JCVD had swapped roles in US, and the end had been more like Re-animator, less like Ghost, it might have been a classic on par with, say, Predator.
