Wanna throw down with a karateka/aikidoka?

I've just come across this pretty funny, retro-smelling thing (yeah, we're that part of Europe, things creep upon us slowly...):

Since I guess Slovak still hasn't become the second most spoken language on Bullshido, let me offer a brief translation:

Friendly match

sensei Pavol Iskra
(5. dan karate, 1. dan aikido)

invites the protagonists of all martial arts for a friendly match. Any person interested in a match with Palo Iskra can register, agree on the date and other issues at karate@pegonet.skwww.karate.px.sk

So we have a goju ryu stylist who's also doing aikido (btw his name means "spark") "challenging" any and all other MA's...

There's not a word about rules, rounds, etc... or safety gear, for that matter.

Video is promised, so this might lead somewhere if there's anybody in 2009 (even in Slovakia) interested in such a thing...

Austria. About two hours (maximum three I'd say) drive from more or less any given point in Slovakia. :-)

I wonder what would happen if I were to wear an old uniform of the Austrian monarchy and scream: "All your country are belong to us!1!111!!!" (in German with an Austrian accent of course). Or just hum a little song while fighting. Like "Wir sind das K&K Garderegiment, Hoch- und Deutschmeister numero vier!". ;-)

Yeah, half of Viennas population has Slovakian or Czech family names. The other half Kroatian ones. :-)

I sure plan on attending the TD. Meeting for some extra training would be nice. Especially before the TD, so we can make secret plans how to bully Lebell. ;-)
