I have no idea about BJJ in the location.

But i think you might find people more helpful if you put your post into paragraphs, instead of just one wall of text.

    Welcome to Bullshido!

Thanks for the welcome. Yeah I know it is very sloppy. I was in rush, and I hear where you're coming from. Do you think that editing my post would get a better reaction?

From anyone who hasn't already seen the thread, definitely.

You could also try using the search function, to see if they've already been mentioned, or checking out the dojo review section, to see if the schools have already been reviewed.

Short of that, if you see anyone who lives in your area on bullshido, reply to whatever they're saying asking for advice.

Unfortunately, i don't think you can send private messages untill you've made a certain amount of posts, but if you're a fan of the UFC, it shouldn't be too hard to rack up a post count in the sports section.

Sorry i can't be more helpful, but I live in Ireland.

It was, but apparently things have changed.

Because of this and the fact that I am still new to NorthEastern Pennsylvania Geography, it has been somewhat of a chore for me to find a concrete location
You might find TrainJiuJitsu.com useful: its a large map of BJJ clubs in the US, though just based on user contributions, as far as I'm aware.

My name is Nick, and I am twenty years old, have recently moved to Pennsylvania, and have developed an interest to begin studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
You might find this BJJ Beginner FAQ useful, as a new student in BJJ.

As I mention in that FAQ, for further reading on BJJ, I'd recommend the following threads:

slideyfoot is being modest: GO READ HIS FAQ! It is absolutely, IMHO, essential reading for anyone thinking of starting BJJ.

Wow! That is impressive. Is there any recent articles on Rat Pack that show it's succes and failing? You know, just to make sure that the management is still on the right track.

The rat pack is on the up and up. They are associated with James Simrell MMA from scranton. He is in charge of their BJJ promotions, and is a fantastic martial artist. Theay also have Brian Miller (Renzo Gracie BB) from Reality MA teach on Sat. AM. They do very well at grappling comps for such a small school. Rat Pack, Reality, and Simrell also have a decent fight team together. You will get great instruction at an unbelievable price at Rat Pack. Really good group of guys too.

Really? What is their billing plan?

It also seems like they have an excellent Mauy Thai boxing program too.
