Need a Mcdojo check on a BJJ school

    http://www.bjjaz.com/techniques.html

So I'm thinking this place is actually a Mcdojo because it keeps trying to shove a course for University of Phoenix combat training classes down my throat, but I can still find the location and prices for training at the actual facility.

Also another thing that strikes me as odd is there isn't any mention of instructors nor what belts they have and who they got them from. No credentials at all.

And of course they say they're the only accreditted BJJ dojo (accredited by who?) in Arizona which also makes no sense because Relson Gracie has a school here as well as a few other Gracie recognized schools.

I know I pretty much answered it myself as to whether or not it's a Mcdojo but I don't want to pass up a BJJ school so close to where I live if it's not actually a Mcdojo (and they just really need to fire their web designer).

I guess they mean accredited as a college course. That said, check this out: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Discuss:Is...ity_accredited

Drop in on a BJJ class for $10 and find out who the instructor is and who he is ranked under. Then let us know and we can give more input.

There's plenty of good BJJ in AZ. Check out state BJJ federation:

Their domain is registered by ESTATE TRANSACTIONS INC, the president (and as far as I can tell sole employee) of which is TOM HALSTEAD, who I am pretty sure is the same Tom Halstead mentioned at http://www.bladecombat.com/aboutetipsu.html which is an equally poorly designed website.
          According to that site
"Tom was one of the first American black belt candidates and a frequent competitor in the nascent Gracie organization. Tom and Joe Moriera split off from the Gracies, and founded Jiu Jitsu de Brazil. "

So this looks like the same guy from the thread about Lethalo over here http://www.bullshido.net/forums/show...hlight=Lethalo

            Is Bob really Toby????1111!!!seven

There is a bodyguard course on one of the links....awesome....
            http://www.becomeabodyguard.com/williberich.html

--BOB was disabled when young, and knew he would never stand post. But his love for weapons and tactics, chess, strategy, sniping and other areas made him one of the best rounded students we've ever met. After a stint with Homeland Security in poisons and toxins, Bob started his own consulting business...... Bob: "Without your network, I couldn't handle the volume of work I now have. How many people do you know who spend their life in a wheelchair and are now millionaires? But there's a bigger point: I'm doing what I love, and am my own boss!"
            ? huh ?
